Commit First is a purity blog, an abstinence/chastity website that focuses on avoiding pre-marital sex in order be blessed by God, to bring more long-lasting joy and sensuality into your marriage. The reasons for this area are clear once one begins to read the messages from people who have learned that Purity is the only real option for single Christians in today’s world.

As Christians, being obedient to God is only part of why we are interested in living life in a pure fashion until marriage. There are many more reasons, secular reasons, wise, carefully-thought-out reasons. Reasons, that after millennia of testing, re-testing, application to our lives, taught an entire culture the importance of virginity, purity, fidelity, romance, and love. The non-Christian is invited whole-heartedly invited to participate in this dialog. We welcome all races, colors, creeds, and religions into this ongoing conversation about purity in society today. We hope this new forum will also be helpful to couples, too. You may discover some new secrets of human sexuality, and tips on sensuality with your partner, which we intend for the purely married. Of course, we simultaneously offer support to those with the desire to be pure before marriage, for the single participant, whether of virgin status or not. You will find some of those articles for marrieds under ‘Pure Sex’. You also will find in the areas ‘Pure Women’ and ‘Pure Men’ are articles designed to assist your walk in Faith to be pure as Children of God. ‘Purely Political’ is about how the new wave of purity is affecting our society daily, and how a lack of purity has infected it up until now, in the last century. ‘Pure Couples’ are articles about how purity has improved or made couple’s relationships different than they expected, or hoped.

Again, we welcome you to all the pure joy you can discover, about purity, God, obedience, yourself, sex, Christ, your husband or wife or fiancee, and how it all fits together, in the purely fun and wonderful forum to help discover more about the inner Christian in you.

365 JESUS

In 2007, we launched 365 Jesus with the intent of providing serious Christians with a warm, inviting, wholesome Christian environment. Our dream was to create a project that was deservingly worthwhile, that could represented God well; a daunting task. What we wanted to see was a real Internet community that would focus on being close to Christ every day of our lives. What we wound up with is a Christian Funhouse that has so many things to do!  (http://www.365Jesus.com) We feel this place is where we can conduct a daily celebration with God, where people could teach, fellowship, and worship, seeking Him, communicating with other Christians for deeper understanding in their search to see His face.

In doing this project for Jesus and His People, we felt we must encourage each and every Christian to come together in discussion for the purpose of camaraderie, good communication, and honest sharing, with Christian witnessing, debating, rebuking, forgiving, learning, love and acceptance. All Forums are good ones for parents of any age to share with each other, to help witness to children of any age, helping them to understand the importance of maintaining purity in our lives.

Once 365 Jesus was on its way, the first work came for Blessed Dates, the most complicated project because of its specialized software for biblical matching (dating). It required high security, so we put a Bible quiz at the door, and restricted access to the USA alone, to protect our members - as well as hand-checking profiles. We felt that a big part of being closer to the Father for singles, was being equally yoked, and pure before marriage, too - with the option of living live as one chooses. We felt it was naturally important for those Christians looking for their soulmates to focus on this aspect, as well as providing support for those who were already purely married at the next part of the project - Jesus 180: Change through Christ. This is the Christian Community Forums designed to give Christians a wonderfully intimate and comfortable place to be able to discuss their love of Jesus - and everything from soup to nuts. At this moment, we are developing links to simulcasts of American evangelists, to make it even more fun and easy fellowship and pray together.

Then the last brainstorm hit, that this was a place we could really do anything we wanted, challenge the world to hear the truth about God, about sex, and about romance, love, and purity. We are 365 Jesus Friends, a blessed group of couples and singles who support this discussion about purity before marriage. The people within this organization have either discovered the joy of purity in our own love relationships, or were taught early in life by our parents the importance of purity. Regardless, respecting and encouraging the “lost tradition” of being pure before marriage is what we choose to advocate today for young men and women to recapture the power, self-respect, and independence, which can become lost through intimacy that comes before individual responsibility and commitment. This website is where we host a discussion forum about that topic.
